Maui Eats!

We recently made a trip to Maui, HI for my Mothers wedding. This was our first time back to Maui since our Honeymoon in August of 2013. After leaving the first time, we craved all the good food we had!

First stop, Leilani’s on the Beach!

 One of Maui’s well-known restaurants on the shores of Ka’anapali. They have so many good options, but we stick to our FAVORITES! Cubanos and Fish Tacos

The Fish Tacos are voted Maui’s Best, People’s Choice, by Maui Time Magazine . Seasoned with cajun rubbed, roasted tomatillo aioli, cheddar and jack cheese, shaved cabbage, chile de arbol salsa, fresh tortilla chips, with a choice of corn or flour tortilla. The amount of flavor they packed into the small fish filets is amazing!

The Kalua Pork Cuban is my NEW favorite! I had these a couple times while we were there. They slow roast the pork, place apple wood smoked ham, Maui pickles, pepper jack, roasted garlic aioli on the sandwich. It comes with a side of fries. Of course, I washed it down with a ice cold Pacifico {no lime}

My wife was turned on to Midori Sours by my mom. Basically, an alcoholic slushy! Very refreshing for the hot weather in Maui!

When you make it out to Maui, be sure to stop by Leilani’s to enjoy these great plates! You won’t be disappointed.

Cheers from Maui!
